Catching Up...February's Club Projects

February marked the last month of my current Stampers' 8 Club. Wow, did 8 months go by FAST! We finished off the session with 2 cute little cards...the first used a technique called Embossed Resist. I had actually never used this technique prior to planning this card and thought it would be fun to give it a try myself.

The next little card is a fun one I have made several times. When you have teenagers heading off to friends birthdays, there's no longer a need to go shopping for gifts, just gift cards--how easy is that! I usually have some of these ready for those last minute..."Mom, it's {insert name here}'s birthday, I need a card!".
This one's a masculine version, more suitable for an Uncle, Brother, Dad or Grandfather. If you want the details on how to make this fun card, check out this site. Dawn Griffith's has a video with all the deets!

RECIPE: Card 1: Stamps: En Francais, Great Friend, It's your Birthday,Teeny Tiny Wishes; Paper: Naturals White, Old Olive, Kraft; Ink: Old Olive Classic, Versamark; Other: Clear EPCard 2: Stamps: Pocket Silhouettes; Paper: Kraft, Naturals White, Night of Navy, Soft Suede, Night of Navy DSPatterns; Ink: Soft Suede

  1. These cards are lovely, but the butterfly card is exceptionally beautiful. I am going to case this one...soon!

    Thanks for the inspiration.
